Our approach

Founded in 2005, International Business School of Scandinavia (IBSS) focuses on online and blended business education. Programmes are modular and are delivered directly or with approved learning partners.

IBSS brings together teachers with academic and professional experience and learners from different countries and industries. The emphasis is on applied knowledge, independent thinking and skills that can be used in practice.

Institutional status and external quality assurance

IBSS is a private organisation and is not a Danish public university or a state-recognised university. Its awards should not be presented as Danish state university degrees.

IBSS has held memberships, certifications and accreditation from independent, non-governmental organisations. These relationships are forms of external quality assurance or professional association; they do not by themselves constitute Danish state recognition. Applicants should check the current status directly with the named organisation and confirm acceptance of an IBSS award with the relevant employer, professional body or authority in their country before enrolling.

Current supporting documentation can be requested from IBSS. This wording is deliberately precise so that private accreditation, membership, certification and state recognition are not confused.
